A body of work

I’m embarking on making a new body of work, after some time away working in a day job and on other projects.
A starting point is making spaces where I can gather images and allow them to speak to each other.
The first large work I’m creating is a diptych – one part sparked by ‘Wildfires and the Fata Morgana‘, and one that will stem from ‘Pitch your tent above the tide line‘.
Both works encompass anxiety about loss and finitude, as well as dreams and longings, and will be an exploration of the spaces I can make within. As ever, totemic objects figure within created space, a chair that speaks to me as a family member, a jug of water that feels like all the emotion we hold for each other.
I’m really looking forward to working on a larger scale, and sharing the works with you as I go.
